Process Engineer Assembly Department

Job Summary
As a Process Engineer, the selected candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing assembly processes, supporting the introduction of new (mostly mechanical) products in the most effective and efficient way possible, while ensuring excellent quality standards for the customer.
Key Responsibilities
Definition and implementation of production processes:
Study and define assembly methods through the creation of appropriate Operating Standards, layout definition, analysis of equipment and material placement, ensuring full compliance with ergonomic principles.Cost analysis:
Define and estimate work cycles in line with project targets agreed with R&D. Size investments in machinery and equipment, and support the design and implementation of such investments in collaboration with the Industrial Engineering department.Technology transfer:
Coordinate product industrialization projects, taking them from the design/prototyping phase to mass production.Collaboration with R&D:
Work closely with the Research & Development team to understand technical specifications and process requirements, suggesting modifications to improve performance and manufacturability.Continuous improvement of existing processes:
Enhance customer service, operational efficiency, and outgoing product quality while ensuring the safety and ergonomics of all workstations. Support the implementation of key Lean tools (e.g., 5S, Standardization, Visual Management, TPM, SMED).

Internal: Production, R&D, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Controlling, Planning
External: Component suppliers, equipment suppliers
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Industrial Management, or related Engineering fields
Previous experience in similar roles, preferably within industrial environments strongly oriented toward Lean Manufacturing
Good command of written and spoken English
Knowledge of main IT tools (Word, Excel, etc.)
Coordination and project management skills
Teamwork ability, problem-solving attitude, and strong communication skills
