Role Summary:
To service, test, troubleshoot and repair manual and robotics products within the EMEA/APAC region. Will include customer’s equipment either in-house or at customer’s premises and training as and when required.
Work Location: Bad Kreuznach, Germany – On-site - 5 days a week
Your day-to-day might include:
Service and Repair of Manual and Robotic products, within but not limited to: the Vinten, Sachtler and OConnor brands
Technical support to Distributors/Dealers/OEM's end customers and our own Customer Service team by phone or email on all products
Inspection and repair of Loan Demo Kit
Travel to customer sites to carry out service/repairs and warranty in EMEA/APAC as and when required
Produce estimates within IFS system including follow up and report in procedure
Raise transport tasks
Keeping up to date with all calibration of service tooling/equipment
Propose spares requirements for existing and new products
Assist with the planning of service visits with Sales Manager for that area, Distributor/Dealer/Customer and Line Manager
Travel to other Service Centres to help with workload and/or training
Service evaluation and feedback on new product development for manual and robotic products
Ensure product is in a clean and tidy manner before distribution or after visit to customer site
May be required to carry out integration for the Systems Engineers for customer orders in conjunction with production at Bury before shipment
Assist production with assembly when possible

What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 5 years engineering experience
Advanced level of English (both written and spoken)
Good customer service skills
Good communication skills, verbal and written
Strong technical experience
Good training skills
Proven track record in problem solving
Able to work under pressure and manage own time and resources effectively
Good computer skills

SharePoint knowledge
Good knowledge of IFRS
Significant experience of industry standard fully integrated ERP systems. IFS experience desired.
