Role Summary:
The Salesforce Administrator, we are seeking will be a self-starter and be able to work under their own steam. They need to be a strong energetic business-minded individual possessing a strong understanding of Salesforce Best Practices and ideally knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other similar Marketing Automation Platform (such as Eloqua). This person will be an integral part of the IT team and will ensure the success of user adoption of the marketing cloud within VPS. A successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to define and execute a series of well-defined automated campaigns to targeted customers at different stages of their customer life cycle. The candidate must have outstanding communication and project management skills and be motivated to become an expert across the entire Salesforce Platform that VPS have invested in Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud, together with Knowledge Base, Sales Engagement, Inbox, Identity Connect, together with ad-on tools such as Conga, Simple Survey, Case Flags, Case Merge. Along with suggesting any improvements or recommendations of tools found on the Salesforce app-exchange.
They must have a proven Salesforce solution/developer experience and demonstrate their ability to trouble shoot Salesforce problems to come up with a solution.
Work Location: Bury St Edmunds/Hybrid - 3 days a week (after initial training period) in the office at Bury St. Edmunds.
Your day-to-day might include:
Project Manage major Salesforce Developments from technical build, and deployment from sandbox to production utilizing a Change Control process via our Helpdesk system (Halo).
Be able to re-design many of the Workflow Rules and Process Builders currently running our Salesforce instance into a Flow. Applications must have previous experience of building and designing well executed Flow’s in previous positions.
Responsible for helping to shape the strategic vision and ongoing improvement of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), digital and online marketing activities which support and drive sales and marketing activities globally.
Developing, coordinating, analyzing, and optimizing all forms of digital marketing activities, including but not limited to: digital marketing, and email campaigns.
Assist the marketing team to ensure campaigns are directed to agreed targeted customers to raise level of customer awareness.
· Ability to review campaigns, so a good degree of copywriting skills required to oversee the final campaigns and ensure the customers experience a seamless journey with our digital campaign journey.
· A good understanding of HTML, CSS and Java would be very beneficial for this role, to assist in the creation of end-user and channel emails.
· Manage schedule of deployment to optimize user response and actively manage email lists.
· Collaborate with product, design, communications, sales, service and other internal stakeholders over business requirements.
· Develop and manage email campaign calendar.
· Tackle projects that affect the email program as a whole, e.g. monitor deliverability, maintain templates, troubleshoot campaign issues, monitor interactive design elements, etc.
Ability to build complex Lead Scoring Models targeting different customer personas.
Ability to articulate your knowledge of the ‘Customers Digital Body Language’ to internal key stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:
Must be – SFDC ADM201 Certified
2+ years of working with Salesforce Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud (or other Marketing Automation Platform).
Must have Experience working with Salesforce and Marketing Automation Platforms from an administrator role.
Must have proven experience working with Salesforce Flows and be able to demonstrate an example of their previous work.
Must have extensive Excel experience, cleaning and normalising data.
Must have proven copy proofing experience which they can demonstrate.
Experience with System Integrations, with tools such as Mulesoft or similar and demonstrate an understanding of the importance of integrating tools.
HTML coding experience desirable
Proven track record in developing integrated automated email campaigns that drive customer retention and increase site usage.
Demonstrable collaboration and project management skills; proven track record in driving innovation
Demonstrable experience with utilising Apps from the Salesforce Appstore to deliver business solutions.
Experience and confidence to drive projects and initiatives across a complex organization
High degree of personal initiative and tenacity and a strong change orientation – excited by the future – ability to challenge existing ways of operating.
Ability to articulate and champion email marketing best practices and standards.
Have a flexible working ethic to support a global user base with Salesforce.
Ability to use own initiative to address problems and present solutions.

Nice to Have:
Candidate will ideally have both Classic and Lightning Salesforce Platform experience.
Industry experience in Broadcasting and Production Equipment is a major plus.
An excellent understanding of sales and marketing in a B2B environment.
Ability to adapt personal style to suit situations and stakeholders including conflict management.
Superior critical thinking skills and ability to evaluate problems logically, prioritize competing demands across a wide spectrum of activity and develop innovative yet practical solutions within limited resources and time.
Education and Qualifications:
Essential:
BA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Salesforce ADM201 Certification or higher
GCSE English and Maths – Grade C or above.
Desirable:
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification (be able to prove near completion).
Experience of implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (desirable).
HTML, CSS, Java Certification (desirable)
