What will I be doing?
As the Director of Purchasing & Supply Chain Operations at Videndum Creative Solution, you’ll lead the strategic direction and execution of our global supply chain, overseeing sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory management, production, and distribution. You will be both a strategic leader and a hands-on operator, directly engaging in detailed supply chain activities where needed to ensure successful execution. You’ll build and optimize a high-performing network that ensures efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness across all operations.
You’ll manage supplier relationships, drive process improvements, and collaborate with finance and production teams to align supply chain strategy with business goals. As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll champion innovation, implement new technologies, and foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. You will also lead and personally drive key supply chain projects, including vendor transitions, outsourcing initiatives, and implementation of new operational capabilities.
A typical day might include the following
- Manage and optimize a global supply chain logistics network with multiple supply points
- Ensure all regulatory and compliance measures are met within global guidelines. Specifically experienced with recent tariff regulations
- Analyzing material movement to develop both short- and long-range programs to minimize inventory costs, meet schedule requirements, and mitigate risk
- Managing and maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring their performance, and proactively addressing supply issues
- Collaborating with finance, planning, and materials management to determine and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Actively seeking out and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within planning and procurement, including process improvement and cost savings
- Leading and executing supply chain–related projects from concept to completion
- Provide leadership and support to planning and procurement
- Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization’s operations division.
- Collaborates with other VCS affiliates and departments to carry out the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline organizational processes in manufacturing on-site
- Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans, such as those for staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities, are in line with the organization’s business plan and vision.
- Reviews and approves cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for projects.
- Establishes and administers the department’s budget.
- Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief financial officer and other leadership.
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
- Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided.
- Implements Health and Safety Program
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates must have
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a similar field
- 10+ years of global supply chain management and operations experience in a tech manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage cost performance, supply chain practices, and execution across a variety of product lines from multiple sources
- Experience in purchasing electrical components and maintaining contract manufacturing relationships
- Experience in overseas relations and tariff regulations
- Experience in weekly and monthly operation output deliveries
- Demonstrated experience managing and delivering complex supply chain projects
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong analytical, financial, and P&L skills required to succeed
- Capacity to build relationships internally & externally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
