Broadcast Sales Director

What will I be doing?
Teradek is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to spearhead business development efforts for our innovative products and solutions within North America's Broadcast markets. As part of our growing team, you will be responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities, crafting and executing strategic business plans, nurturing customer relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive success across all sales initiatives.
A typical day might include the following:
- Identify, target, develop, and pursue new business opportunities for Teradek’s IP video products and services within the Broadcast Sports and News markets in North America
- Work directly with key customers and industry partners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Develop and implement strategies to expand business, drive growth, and enhance
Teradek’s market presence - Organize and lead webinars, presentations, and roadshows to demonstrate Teradek’s capabilities and generate interest in our solutions
- Drive short-term revenue growth while establishing long-term, strategic relationships with customers and industry influencers
- Lead product demos, support bid preparation, and ensure a seamless sales process
- Work in coordination and collaboration engineering, support, and marketing teams to provide product support and technical expertise
- Other duties as assigned
Qualified candidates must have
- Strong track record of successful sales within the Broadcast Sports and News vertical, ideally with a focus on IP video products or related technologies.
- Minimum 5 years experience selling to call letter stations, production companies, and media teams
- Sales Hunter: A proactive, results-driven individual who excels at identifying and
pursuing new business opportunities - Demonstrated history of growing sales and developing new business within the
industry - Knowledge and experience in market segments related to live video streaming, live
event production, and cloud video platforms - Strong technical understanding with the ability to explain and demonstrate complex solutions and their key features to clients
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Independent, self-driven, creative, and solution-oriented "can-do!" attitude with the ability to take initiative and solve problems
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support business activities
- Authorization to legally work in the United States on a full-time basis
